Information

The narrative of Linyan Pavilion originates from Eastern mythology, where the kylin (auspicious beast) arrives with wind and rain, embodying boundless imagination and divine blessings. The space harmonizes the noble essence of the kylin with the poetic aesthetics of the East, inheriting the grandeur of the Tang and Song dynasties while showcasing the splendor of a prosperous era.

Located in Ningde, Fujian, this high-end business dining venue embeds "Eastern Elegance" into its design. Within a two-story standalone building, classical Eastern garden techniques are employed to create layered spatial progression. Visitors meander through winding paths and ever-changing views, evoking the charm of traditional literati retreats.

The project, led by Moge Design, collaborates with Yanwu Lighting and MERCANVEE to craft a professional lighting narrative. Through luminous artistry, the restaurant transforms into an Eastern masterpiece, blending poetic aesthetics with imperial grandeur.

Entrance: Encountering the Radiant Kylin

ENTRANCE

Shielding urban clamor, visitors traverse a winding path to meet the kylin. Upon entry, lighting acts as a gracious host—warm and reverent. Gentle light dances across ink-wash walls, crafting a serene ambiance that mirrors ancient Eastern gardens.

Lobby: Culinary Treasures

LOBBY

Lacquerware, gold-brick textures, and jade-like materials embody the gravitas of Chinese aesthetics—noble yet restrained. The lighting orchestrates a symphonic balance of delicacy and grandeur, framing an atmosphere of timeless elegance.

Tea Room: Poetic Immersion

TEA ROOM

Tea, poetry, and dining converge here. Inspired by Mao Zedong’s Qinyuanchun·Snow (a poem celebrating China’s 5,000-year legacy), the space channels heroic ambition. Soft light filters through tea steam, mingling with wooden furnishings to evoke tranquility. Sip Longjing tea amid this meditative retreat.

Corridor: Millennial Splendor

CORRIDOR

Ascend to 15 private rooms named after golden eras of Chinese governance. The corridor’s lighting guides footsteps with dappled shadows through foliage, echoing the poetic rhythm of classical gardens.

In each room, lighting elevates business banquets with solemnity and prestige. Crystal chandeliers cast even illumination, framing every corner as a stage for gourmet artistry and meaningful dialogue.
